My body is a continent
Plot
Having lived on the fringes of society in London, Rona is trying to come to terms with her difficult past. In the hope of healing, she returns to the wild beauty of the Orkney Islands of Scotland, where she grew up. For the first time, the film was shot on the island of Pope Westray near the Orkney Islands. Rona: In grandiose moments, intoxicated by the fresh air and freedom on the hill, I study my personal geology. In my sleep I grind my teeth like tectonic plates.
And when I blink, the sun flickers
My breath drives the clouds across the sky, and the waves roll onto the shore to the beat of my heart. The headlands of the islands rise above the sea like my limbs in a bathtub. My freckles are famous landmarks, and my tears are rivers. Every time I sneeze, lightning strikes me. And when I have an orgasm, an earthquake occurs.
Conceptual: This goes deep
One With the Wind written by John Guertler and Jan Mizerr. In the film there is something that few films do; he isolates and creates a metaphor in the wall. Actors’ personalities are impeccable, i.e. time they acquire character and dynamics as the film moves from one turn to another. Whether you know it or not…
Rona chased after her
the story changed as soon as it was launched. She chased after the life that belonged to her. Gray rain and transparent drops only made the wall sad; Cars and airplanes are included. This was the biggest blessing for the main character. Gloomy, desert visions and thoughts about “bird calls”.
There was excitement
She remembered the bright moments of techno and accepted them. She learned, it would seem, to voluntarily cope with the symptoms of withdrawal, and not to fight with them. The acting and acting were top notch. Each move had a sequence. Nevertheless, the film is the culmination of the search for isolation and the extraction of maximum benefit from it; Teasing and joking or serious and real.
