This show has only the most cursory connection to the original series
Plot
Follows Madeline Matlock as she rejoins the workforce at a prestigious law firm, where she uses her shrewd tactics to win cases and uncover wrongdoing.. Gender takeoff in the original 1986 TV series of the same name, Matlock ( 1986), starring Andy Griffith in the title role of criminal lawyer Ben Matlock.
This will confirm identity, address, current license status, disciplinary actions, etc
For legal reasons, they had to give Dean Hargrove “based on the series Matlock”; credit.. In order for Matlock to be hired by a New York law firm, they had to verify her license status through one of three official mechanisms, each carefully managed by the state.
A remake of Matlock (1986)
Kathy Bates was a great choice for the lead role, cunning, intelligent, this will be a wonderful season with cutting edge plots and twists. Also, the cast is great (you’ll love the past references from the original TV show with Andy Griffith).
You won’t be disappointed
It has a wonderful cast, with several characters thinking about the plot. Don’t miss this new show if you watch it when you watch another show, whether it’s sports or something else DVR the show and extend the time.
Again, Kathy Bates played a great role in this show
The second show I watched with my wife and we both loved the show from start to finish.
