A grieving therapist starts telling her clients exactly what she thinks
Disregarding her training and ethics, she finds herself making big changes in people’s lives, including her own. The cast of “Downsizing” share their best character-defining moments from Season 1 and find out who does the best Harrison Ford impersonation. When Brett Goldstein, Jason Segel, and Bill Lawrence were asked how they got Harrison Ford to appear on the show, Segel said that Goldstein originally wanted “Harrison Ford’s guy,” and was auditioning for people who looked like Ford.
Eventually, Goldstein talked to Ford and sold him the role
Segel told Goldstein that they had to at least take it to Ford first, thinking he would immediately turn it down, but at least other people would hear that Harrison Ford had brought the project, sparking interest from other notable actors. His dry delivery is absolutely the best
Harrison Ford is just amazing in this show! His sassy demeanor and sharp tongue are now my goal in life as I enter my senior years. He is hysterical and I need more of this in my life!!!
This show is so beautifully written
Also, if you are a fan of Jason Segel, you will not be disappointed. It has well-rounded characters tackling real issues. It brings all the feels and leaves you wanting more each week.
